Good morning!
Joe, sorry you didn't sleep well.
Ado, they could have spared an RN to do the outpatient procedures. Sounds like a skate easy assignment two RNs and an aide for six patients.
Slept in today after feeding the dogs at their usual time. I wanted to go to yoga but don't have the energy to get up and go just now. Should have set my alarm to get up earlier but sometimes I just need to let my body be my guide.
Will hopefully make it to the gym here later since I slept in so long. Going out for Mexican food later. Best friend has a 25% off coupon somewhere.
Have a good day.
Gonna be a 95-98 degrees hot, VERY humid (75%) day-----there's a surprise, eh?
I'm trying to wake up, guess I'll get another cup of coffee. Cobwebs are hanging in my brain, so I don't know what I might plan for today. Have to go back upstairs because I just decided I don't like the jersey I put on. Don't know WHY I don't like it, but there ya are. Back in a minute-----
Ahh, this jersey is better.
I've got about 40 minutes before I have to get Nannie up. Wouldn't it be nice if SiL came over to get Nannie up? Yes, it would, but I've not heard a peep from her in several days, so I may have to do it myself. Gosh, gee, phooey, and OH WELL!
One of these days (however far in the future) I won't have to deal with her. I have enough trouble taking care of myself! I look forward to getting up when I am actually AWAKE, and then puttering around doing as I will. I'd like to trim my hair and take a shower, but not sure that will occur today. It would take a good while with no interruptions, so I am not planning on it.
Have to continue to wake up, so later, y'all..............
Good morning!
My selective blindness is fading. I shall be doing midnight gardening late tonight - A. Annoying neighbors watching/commenting are asleep at that time and B. It'll be cooler. Still better than it had been, but we'll be paying for it early next week with a heat wave even hotter than the last. I am so ready for fall and yes even Winter. Haven't really had snow here the last several years other than a storm once each year (if even that). I remember when I was a kid the local pond would freeze thick enough to be the town ice rink. It's been decades since that happened.
Currently doing laundry. My dryer has decided to rebel and I have no money to fix it (technically it's been a while since it rebelled) so off to the laundromat go I. Honestly I don't mind it- grab a few washers and throw it all in at the same time. Then settle in with the Kindle and read for a while.
Anyway, enough stream of consciousness from me for now!
There was a lake in my hometown that used to freeze down to....no lie.....3-4 feet deep! It was great for ice-skating. It was so deep that when particularly deep areas used to crack it sounded like the LOUDEST very startling *BOOM!* I think the year that two different fools drove onto the ice and their vehicle broke through and sank, that was the start of the lake not freezing to such an extent as it did when I was a kid. It was quite expensive to have your vehicle hauled out of the lake! And you HAD TO have it hauled out, by law, so the lake would not get polluted from the rust and fuel and various liquids of a disintegrating car!

NJ22 glad her bronchoscopy went well
Dianah I liked the old Poirot series, not sure if I'd like this new one
Tweety glad he's doing better
Ado I hope you managed to get everything done
Work was a little busier than expected, with extra calls and emails, but still it wasn't too bad, despite getting a new case. So far next week doesn't look too bad
After work ran a quick errand and heated up the mushrooms for the potluck. It was held outside, weather was clear but a bit warm. Big crowd, nice to see my friend Mark who was away in Brazil for 2 months
Came home and felt warm and had trouble sleeping, had to get up twice to read a bit. Cat was being a pain, vomited and was hungry and wanted more food, kept walking back and forth on my bed. Don't normally feed her at night but decided I needed to do so. She vomited again, so I gave her some more food and she kept it down. Tried valerian root but still had problems sleeping, so took Xanax and finally went to sleep. Probably would have gotten to sleep faster if I'd just fed the cat earlier
Today have to take the car in for a routine check. Will try and do birdwatching, although I am pretty tired this morning. Also will be meeting dad for lunch. The over 50 group has a dinner event tonight too
Svengoolie has Munster Go Home, which I'll skip
Going to be warmer today, 90 with rain in the afternoon
