Hello!
I haven’t seen a post yet for anyone applying to SRJC for Fall 2020/Spring 2021. I’m anxiously waiting to hear back, but it’s a long way until June! Any tips from anyone currently in the program on how to focus my “off time” this semester to stay sharp?

Yeah I also haven't heard anything yet.... 3 minutes to go....

@Simran Saggu does she say how far down the alternate list you are? Like what your chances are of being chosen if someone declines? I can’t take much more uncertainty LOL

Just sent her a email. All of this waiting around has been super frustrating, and to still not hear anything by their extended deadline....

Same letter as well. Doesn’t seem like they sent out denial letters, seems like they just tell us all were alternates.

Stay strong and start getting your vaccines/health stuff in order! I have a friend who was an alternate last year and she got a call in December saying there was a spot because someone dropped out. It could happen at any time, there will be lots of shuffling this year since people took offers at other schools!

Are denial letters different than this? I thought this was a denial letter ?

I think if you meet the application criteria then you get listed as an alternate. There were people who got emailed on Sunday saying that their apps were incomplete or didn't do things correctly (submitting transcripts etc).

Yeah I am frustrated because she never responded to my email. So I am just left confused not knowing if my application was even processed or received. I feel like they could’ve done a better job notifying everyone. CONGRATS to everyone who was accepted! Did anyone who is on the alternate list apply to Napa’s program?

I finally got the same email about my lottery number not being picked and that I was on an alternate list. Was this the same email you got? @ALaw
