hi everyone! i wanted to start this thread so we can keep each other updated on our applications. im scheduled to take the nln-pax on tuesday. good luck to everyone!

thank you! i got denied at lbcc, and still waiting on harbor, el camino, and cypress. im hoping to get into harbor since it's my home school and closer to home, but honestly, i'll be happy getting into any program for spring. have you taken your teas already?

I got a rejection letter from LBCC too! It honestly broke my confidence. I had to take a break from studying for the PAX. I took the TEAS at the end of August. Harbor is closer to me as well but I'm really confused how their lottery system works.

from my understanding, it's a 2 process lottery. the 1st lottery is an invite (for qualifying applicants) to take the teas. the 2nd lottery is the cohort selection, which are chosen from the people who pass the teas with a 62% or higher. so you pretty much have to be chosen twice to make it in.

So 1st lottery: pass TEAS and move onto 2nd lottery: your selected based on merits?

Got accepted!!! So excited to finally start a nursing program :)

we got the decisions through emails yesterday. we will be getting letters in the mail sometime this week.

Hi everyone! I've been following the thread and decided to jump in now. I got my acceptance email 10/15! They said I have to give them an answer by 10/26 or they'll give my spot to someone else. I'm still waiting on other Cal states I applied to so I could be possibly dropping out of my spot. To future applicants: don't give up! This is my second round applying to schools (first time applying to SMC though) and the process sucks but hang in there, it'll all work out!
