hi everyone! i wanted to start this thread so we can keep each other updated on our applications. im scheduled to take the nln-pax on tuesday. good luck to everyone!

I got a 116 so barely passed. I know that is exactly how I felt! How many people were in your testing session? I'm trying to get a feel for how many people were actually invited to the test

i had computer 39 and the assessment center was full. im guessing about 50 students?

Yay! Congratulations! What was the score you got? I just took mine, waiting for a score is agonizing ....I feel very uneasy about this

which part of the test do you feel uneasy about? for me, it was definitely science. im pretty confident in the math and verbal sections.

what was everyone's points before the test?

Oh wow! There were only about 25 in my test yesterday at 12:30. Check before the 4 hours is up because my scores were available less than 3 hours after I had finished. I hope you all pass! I called them yesterday and they said they will be sending out decisions by the end of this week or early next week.

My points were 40 before the test, so kinda low :( what about you?

I just took the PAX today and got a 157! I had 64 points before the pax, so this brings me up to 89. I bought the $20 Science and Math study guides on the NLN website and it was totally worth it. About half of the science and math questions on the PAX were word for word exactly the same as the practice questions. I'm hoping the TEAS goes just as smoothly. I also applied to El Camino Compton and LA Southwest.

Wow that is awesome! I bought the Science one and yeah there were a good amount of the same questions. I was so busy with school so I didn't really have much time to study anything else, so I'm just happy I passed

wow! your points are up there! i bought the science practice questions too and at least 7 from there were on my test today! i applied to El Camino, but the Torrance campus. i was leaning towards Compton but chose Torrance instead based on that they take 40 students vs. 30 at Compton.

stay positive! i had 54 points before the test.

EDIT:double post

do we check our scores under the reports tab? will it show under the composite score?

do we check our scores under the reports tab? will it show under the composite score?

Yes, its under the reports tab then click Participant Report. It will show you the composite score, what % of questions you got correct and the percentile compared to others.

Goodluck to you both! I applied to compton because they apparently get a lot less applications but then I saw this attrition/retention rate after the fact and got nervous. Here it is if anyone's interested
