Hey everyone!
I thought this would be a good place to exchange information with each other about entering the program this fall.
As for me, I received my invite to take the PAX exam in April. SMC is my first choice because I live in the area and I did not pre-Reqs there. I also applied to LACCON (I've been wait listed twice previously), LACC, LATTC, CSUCI, CSULA, and Cerritos.

Hi everyone,
I'm a student at SMC going into 4th semester in the fall, just wanted you to know you guys will be able to join the FB page the first week of school (the wait list used to be over 400 people- too many!) most likely you guys will also make one specifically for your semester. SMC has a 100% because it is VERY hard to get through, we lost about half of our class since first semester. If you go here you'll have a lot of hands on experience and get to experience working in a lot of different hospitals, and be able to do way more for your patients than other schools allow. THERE IS NO WAY YOU WILL FAIL THE NCLEX IF YOU MAKE IT THROUGH THIS PROGRAM. Nobody slips through the cracks. That being said, the administration sucks, you'll lose your social life, and be short on $ (even though it is one of the cheapest out there) but if you want to be a nurse this is almost a sure way if you get through it.
