Hello Everyone. I started this for students who have applied to Santa Monica College ADN Fall 2022 Cohort and are waiting to hear back. 

Hi! No I haven’t heard anything yet. I’m nervous because I don’t exactly know how many points I have, I just have a range LOL so I don’t know where I fall

I took my PAX exam on 04/06/2022, was told by email to keep an eye on SMC email because they will be sending notification letters soon. ?

points entering: 66-69 (depending if they approved one section, only worth 3points) 

then add 20 for PAX exam… so total: 86-89?? I’ve seen in prior SMC application threads “conditional acceptance” for total: 69 points (this was a few semesters ago tho) so we will see! 
 

I have been checking my email everyday (…multiple times??‍♀️) since the PAX exam but no word yet. 
 

ill keep you all posted if I hear anything!

I am a little confused on the Pax exam score since it is my first time taking that exam and applying with Santa Monica College. Out of all the numbers in the results report, which one is the actual score??

Hiii @China323,

This is my first time as well! But I’m 99% sure it is the composite score. I found it on the participant report under “preadmission exam verbal” then it will populate the report. 
 

Use the link below to check out the admission requirements. Under “assessment and readiness/NLNPAX” this will help you determine how many points correlate with your composite score.

Does anyone mind sharing how many points they have, I think I have 77 depending on if they accept 2 things . I just want to see where I fall.

I think my points range around the same points you have! I assuming they’re sending acceptances next week since it is Spring break at Santa Monica right now!

I think my points are around the same. after my exam I feel like I have anywhere between a 79 and 83
