Hey whats up?? So i see you posted on my post of me awaiting my acceptance/rejection letter. I am applying to the Santa Fe nursing program as well. Ugh the wait is starting to bother me even more everyday. So you hear that they had 300 applicants this year? And I called the health science office and they told me that they would not be taking as many as last year...sucks. Just curious...how many points did you have? I got 85. Not much, but am hoping the cut-off of points won't be anymore than that. And what did you think of the evolve/reach exam? I thought it was really easy but I know some people who thought it was really hard. Well anyway....GOOD LUCK TO YOU! Hopefully we'll both be in the program soon!

Hey whats up once again...well I just called the health sciences office and the receptionist just told me that they WILL accept as many applicants as they did last year (140). I was told by an applicant that they would be taking less but I now believe the receptionist more since well you know....she works there. So thankfully, that's a load off our shoulders. :lol2:

We should be getting our letters by Monday!! I'm super nervous. I'll post on here as soon as I get it and let me know if you get in too!

I posted this on the wrong thread so IDK if you ever saw it, but here is my old post

It's literally killing me! lol I need to know like NOW. I don't want to wait 3 more weeks. I did hear there were 300 applicants, but I did not know they were taking less people than last year. I believe I had either 74 or 78 points, I am not sure. I thought the EVOLVE/REACH exam was very easy. I got 94% on both sections. Good luck to you too and hopefully we both make it! Write back on here and let me know as soon as you get your letter so I know mine is coming! lol

ugh....i kno. I am really nervous and am kind of wishing they would take longer. It's pretty nerve wrecking. If I don't get in, I'm sure I will be pretty bummed and won't want to think about nursing for a while....sounds like I would be a 'sore loser' if you will, but hey it's the truth. I figured that if I don't get in, I will just work almost full time for the next year and save up to buy a car and just take a couple of classes to sustain my bright futures scholarship. But don't worry, I will definitely let you know as soon as I get my letter. Oh, it also sucks that I work monday and will have to wait till I get home..

But man, the best of luck to you!

Yeah that us my plan too if I don't get in is to work a year then reapply. I'm trying to get a job at shands but I seem to be having a hard time. I have experience but can't seem to get an interview.
