Prepneck89, to change your major you need the signature of a health advisor. When I changed my major to nursing last year, esanta fe asked for the signature. It does not mean you got into the program, but just that you need approval from them to switch majors. Check the mail tomorrow and let us know if you got the BIG news! Am crossing my fingers for you :)

Yea I got my letter yesterday and got the news I wanted :) If you did not get it yet, it should definitely be there Monday! Good luck and let us know!!

I got my letter this afternoon...............first word on there was, Congratulations!!!!! Oh my god I can't tell you guys how excited and thrilled I am :) No more worrying at night or psyching myself out! Going out to celebrate now but will be back soon!!!

ugh....i kno. I am really nervous and am kind of wishing they would take longer. It's pretty nerve wrecking. If I don't get in, I'm sure I will be pretty bummed and won't want to think about nursing for a while....sounds like I would be a 'sore loser' if you will, but hey it's the truth. I figured that if I don't get in, I will just work almost full time for the next year and save up to buy a car and just take a couple of classes to sustain my bright futures scholarship. But don't worry, I will definitely let you know as soon as I get my letter. Oh, it also sucks that I work monday and will have to wait till I get home.. But man, the best of luck to you!

Hey whats up once again...well I just called the health sciences office and the receptionist just told me that they WILL accept as many applicants as they did last year (140). I was told by an applicant that they would be taking less but I now believe the receptionist more since well you know....she works there. So thankfully, that's a load off our shoulders.

Hey whats up?? So i see you posted on my post of me awaiting my acceptance/rejection letter. I am applying to the Santa Fe nursing program as well. Ugh the wait is starting to bother me even more everyday. So you hear that they had 300 applicants this year? And I called the health science office and they told me that they would not be taking as many as last year...sucks. Just curious...how many points did you have? I got 85. Not much, but am hoping the cut-off of points won't be anymore than that. And what did you think of the evolve/reach exam? I thought it was really easy but I know some people who thought it was really hard. Well anyway....GOOD LUCK TO YOU! Hopefully we'll both be in the program soon!

Congratulations my purpose!!!! That is so amazing and I am so happy for you ! Oh and guys.....thanks for all the encouragement you all have given me, it really helps a lot. The health sciences office posted on their website that they anticipate notification letters to be mailed out June 18th. It is good to know that the end of the wait is almost here, and that I can hopefully begin pursuing the biggest goal in my life. I have talked to several people on what to do just in case I do not get in and seems like everyone has a plan B. I know that it is best to have also have an alternative in mind but I have yet to do so...until now. I am going to be looking at other schools and applying because I just can't let it all ride on one school without a backup. Again, thanks for all the motivation and help from you guys. In about 2 weeks or so I will be giving you guys the news. Oh and just wondering....have you guys ever got so anxious that you've gone to youtube and looked up people opening their acceptance letters?? lol, very entertaining.

Well just found out that there were only 300 applicants this year. This is actually good because last year there were like 400. So now I have a 50/50 chance of getting in. Will keep you guys posted, and good luck to everyone else enduring this torturous wait.

hey my purpose, I feel exactly the same! The nursing advisor at my school told me to wait till mid June, or early July.......REALLY??!! Luckily though we did not have to do an interview because I am honestly exhausted with all the hoops we have to jump through just to be eligible to apply. I want to start the actual nursing courses so freakin' bad already! Good luck to you and keep us posted with the decision.

Thanks guys I need all the encouragement I can get. As in any other school, it is so competitive and I am just a mess not knowing how this is going to go. I find out sometime in June and will def. let u guys know.
