Hey!

Anyone applying for the Fall 2021 semester? If so what were your point totals? I haven't seen a thread on here for this program and term.

Sounds good! And to those of you that have been accepted, feel free to join! It’s a great resource for us to access each other if we need anything, the link is a few posts back ?

Does anyone in the program know what the first-semester schedule is like? I know it's going to be intense but I'm curious

Hi everyone.  Just applied for fall 2022 but don’t think there is a thread for the fall 2022 class yet.   But I have a question about points.  It’s not clear to me how points are calculated.  Can anyone explain?  Thanks in advance.

Go to the page on the SF site for nursing - scroll down to the criteria/points drop down

I don't see it on there, but you also get points for previous medical training like LPN and CNA I believe

CShel,  thank you for your reply.  My confusion is due to the fact that the application did not give me any chance to explain work experience or prior degree.  The list of points says that you can get points for these types of things but there was no way to tell the admissions committee about prior work experience.  Did they change the point system?

It wasn't on the application itself? That's very strange, because as far as I know it definitely does count. If I were you I'd just call and ask - the staff and faculty are super nice. The ph# is 352-395-5650 for the Health Sciences dept.
