SANTA FE COLLEGE ADN FALL 2019 HOPEFULS

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi everyone just making this discussion board for everyone applying to Santa Fe's ADN program (Gainesville, FL) for Fall 2019. How do you feel about the new admission criteria. List your points below as well!

Emailed advising and they said no CNA was not offered as criteria in the selection process. Not sure if I want to apply anymore.

Do you feel your chances are higher at other colleges? I would say apply worse that can happen is you get in somewhere else. Or you can reapply for the spring with 5 more points.

I'd still apply. Like Manifnurse said, worst case scenario you'll have 5 more points in the Spring.

Hi everyone! It is my second time applying, this time I have 40 points.

Hi riri15! Welcome I wish you the best of luck. I’m getting more and more anxious as we approach the deadline.

Hey guys! I’ll be applying this term as well...This is my first time applying. I am applying with 55 points and I am so nervous! Best of luck to all!

Welcome Haley I’m extremely nervous as well! I’m want May to fly by.

Good luck Haley.

Well...it seems Santa Fe is still processing my transcripts from FGC, so I currently have 50 points not 55 because they haven't updated my GPA. Has anyone else had issues dealing with their admissions department? How long does it typically take them to process transcripts. It seems every time I deal with them it is nothing but a hassle.

I called the nursing admissions office that handles all of the applications and they did it the same day. They were really nice, and helpful about it once I explained my situation but this was last year on the last day to apply for spring 2019. My experience with FGC not so much it toke 3 months for my transcripts to process.

I got it straightened out but I had to go up there to do it. I've always had good experiences with FGC, and I applied there too, but I've heard their RN program has a lot of issues right now.

Glad to hear and I also applied there! I don’t think fgc will be up for accreditation for another 2 years
