Santa Clara Valley Medical Center Written Test for LVN

Hi guys,

I recently received an e-mail to take a written test for an LVN position at SCVMC. I was told it was a written test estimating 45 minutes. Does anyone have any idea what topics to study or any suggestions on what to prep for?

I really would appreciate any help anyone can give me especially if any of you guys had to test for the same thing!

I took this exam too, I got my results today.. I passed but myscore and ranking are not that great... how did you do???

I got mine today as well. I passed too. I personally don't think I did GREAT and I don't necessarily know what to make of it but my rank is 38... What's yours....? =/

what kind of questions were on the test? were they pertaining to nursing or general civil service type questions. Isn't SCVMC a county facility?

Wow trust me 38 is better than mine, mine is 87! And a friend I know got 114. So you are fine.

The questions were pretty basic nursing care and yes its a county hospital

so to apply for the job I went to http://agency.governmentjobs.com/santaclara/default.cfm?action=jobs&sortBy=&sortByASC=ASC&bHideSearchBox=1&PROMOTIONALJOBS=0&TRANSFER=0&SEARCHAPPLIED=0&JOBTERMID=26026,24417,7730,7742,7723,7737,7734,7736,7735,7731,7727,7746,7724,7738,7740,7739,7729,7744,7725,7743,17004,7733,7728 and there the LVN job was listed, but I don't see it anymore. Anyways, if you already completed your application, they will take a look at it and if you meet all the requirements for the job, you will receive an email from them asking you to take the test, they provide you with the time, location, and date you would take it. =]
