Hi Future Nurses, 

Starting a forum for the Fall 2021 cycle at Santa Ana College! I wanted to start this to keep in contact with each other and share any information during our application process. Best of luck to you all and I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi all! First time commenting after stalking these forums for the last two years while I’ve applied haha. I’m #6 on the alternate list! I believe I had 86.5 points but if they counted my pharmacology that would give me 90.5. Good luck to everyone and hopefully see you in the fall!

How interesting I had 87.5 and still no email from them ? I wonder why.... I’m getting so discouraged...

I’ve gotten denied 4 times previously, I just retook my anatomy to replace the B I got with an A, trust me...I’ve been feeling hella discouraged too. Don’t give up!

Some advice! After I got denied last application...I went to meet with a nursing counselor to see my app mistakes. Turns out all your transcripts need to have your whole school name on them. If most of you guys, like me, went to OCC, GWC, CCC then the unofficial transcripts don't say the full names. That was what deemed me uneligible even though I had high points. I had to order official transcripts and open them for my unofficial transcripts so the full school name would be on them. Hopefully this helps!

I feel you. I only applied with 81.5 this time, but I'm bumping it up by 12 points next round. A degree and 8 more points with the current classes I'm taking will put me at 93.5 next round. We will all get there if we want it bad enough. It's grueling just getting into a position to apply at these places. Don't give up!

Same thing happened to me last round. I remedied it by doing what you did as well.

This is my 3rd time applying... I am taking Pharm now and getting my AA this semester so if not this round I’m fairly confident I’ll get in next semester buuuut... it would be nice to get in this semester LOL

Hi! Same thing happened to me with my transcripts last cycle so I also ordered the official transcript this cycle and I got accepted! If you guys have high points and don’t get in this term please please don’t get discouraged, it’s the formatting of the unofficial transcripts, not you!! Just make sure whatever transcript you turn in has the schools full name on it and you’ll be fine!
