Hey guys~~
I just applied to the spring 2016 ADN program for Santa Ana College.
I was wondering how many points other people had when applying...
Also, I did not take any of the pre-nursing classes. (pharm and nursing concepts)
Do they not accept you if you haven't taken those classes yet? Or will they still accept your application....
Also any reviews of how the school is? I heard that some schools in the area have very difficult programs and faculty....
Anyways, just waiting for the letters now....
I don't, but I assume it's at the time you send your application. Because you have to have written proof when you apply.
I'm so anxious. I feel like I have a lot riding on getting in this semester. I sacrificed a lot to get in sooner. But i have to remember that everything happens for a reason, good or bad. if I don't get in to SAC or cypress this semester, i'll be applying to them again in February as well as to saddleback and GWC.
I will be checking my mail, or rather having my husband check it because i'll be at work... and update tomorrow.
Please update me as well!!
Oh yeah, of course. I'm aware of the verification from the employer with the letterhead and all. I was just saying if I don't get in this semester..I really hope that the hours I get at the hospital will definitely help me out for the next application round.
Same here! I'm applying to every cc around here and riverside and san diego, as well. Best of luck to you :)
I hope those who got in decide to choose other schools. I will keep crossing my fingers. My friend applied to CSULB during spring last year and was an alternate...#4 or something. She didn't get in. In the fall, she was #20 something and everyone on the alternate list got accepted. I will def take those SAC nursing courses, and get more health care hours. Hopefully, that'll add 10+ points to my score.
thanks so much Michelle!
susan, i think that means we should know by the orientation if we'll have a spot.. if not that day, then the week shortly after. i hope lots of people get into other places quickly so we can get into sac lol
i believe cypress sends their emails out first week of december but i'm still hoping for sac. keeping my fingers crosses

I hope so too
I'm not sure about whether we get rejection letters or not. I hope they send it out...If I don't get in this semester, hopefully next semester works because I'll be getting experience as a CNA at Garden Grove Hospital. I'm at about 63 points and if I could get 1000 hours, that would help me abundantly for the next application period. Do you know what the cutoff is usually?
