Santa Ana College ADN Spring 2016

Hey guys~~

I just applied to the spring 2016 ADN program for Santa Ana College.

I was wondering how many points other people had when applying...

Also, I did not take any of the pre-nursing classes. (pharm and nursing concepts)

Do they not accept you if you haven't taken those classes yet? Or will they still accept your application....

Also any reviews of how the school is? I heard that some schools in the area have very difficult programs and faculty....

Anyways, just waiting for the letters now....

My sister actually applied there for Spring 2016. Her total points came out to 78.

Hello, I've also sent in my application for Spring 16. I calculated 55 points but it could be a little bit more if they accept my statistics class for the math requirement since I haven't taken college algebra. I also haven't taken pharm or nursing concepts. I don't know if they require those before you apply or before you start the program or anything? I've also applied to Rio Hondo and Riverside City College. :)

Hey Everyone!

I had 60.5 points. I'm growing more and more anxious as the hours slowly tick by... SAC is my first choice so i'm all the more excited/terrified.

Pham and nursing concepts are not required to take before applying, but i've read on other (older) threads that people were taking those in the winter intersession. They'll probably go over it at the orientation Dec. 1st.

I called and they told me all the letters go out the same day so we'll probably hear something the 1st or 2nd week of Nov.

Has anyone received their letters yet? Do you get a letter even though you don't get accepted?

I asked the nursing office and they said that they wouldn't offer any of the pre nursing courses this intercession....if anyone hears otherwise please let us know!

Mail come today, nothing for me. I heard they only accept 40 people. 75% highest points, 20% lottery, 5% students re-entering program.

40!? wow, that is a SMALL class.

They send acceptance as well as rejection right? or is no news, bad news??

I think we should really know by tomorrow. thanks for calling them! I wanted to call so bad but my family kept telling me to chill lol
