San Jose/Santa Clara Area ERs

Hello peers,

I'm relocating from Southern California to the Santa Clara/San Jose area. I'm looking for pointers on the best hospitals to work at in this area. I'm also looking for nursing registries/agencies that use per diem nurses to staff hospitals in this area.

I'm a little reluctant to commit to a 13 week contract before I'm a little familiar with the hospital/area

My experience is in ER/trauma nursing. Kindly advise me on which ERs are good to work at in the Santa Clara/San Jose area.

For trauma ER I'd say Santa Clara Valley Med Center. Hopefully those who work in the specific area can give you more advice. Pay is great, cost of living sucks but you probably Already knew that. Be aware sacraments has similar pay rates and a much cheaper cost of living. :).
