Nursing Students School Programs

Hi everyone, I will be planning on applying to the Spring 2024 ADN program at Delta College. Anyone else applying? If so, how many points will you be applying with? Good luck to all everyone ?

Thank you! I applied with 80.5 points. Did you also submit a language proficiency form? Do you think an electronic signature is acceptable? I had my physiology classmate last Spring semester to sign it for me. Will that be okay?

I did submit the form! I'm not too sure about the e-signature, I would call the health & sciences office tomorrow morning to be sure. Don't email them, all you'll get is the same automated message saying "unfortunately it is against our policy to help with applications. Please try to answer to the best of your ability.” Got that same email 6 times. As for a classmate, I'm not too sure if that's okay but as long as it's not a friend or family, I think it should be fine.

Do you guys know why it says I was disqualified for not submitting documentation? I thought that was the second part of the application.

Thats strange.. does it say that on your application portal? Were you initially invited to submit docs?

No it was not initially invited to submit docs it says I was disqualified for not submitting them

Very odd. I would give them a call to clarify what that means. Based on their timeline, applicants should be seeing "Invited to submit docs" or "Not invited" -- but seeing disqualified for not submitting docs is weird because they weren't required for the first part of the application.

Give them a call at 2099545454

That is so weird. Can you show a screenshot of what your looks like? Mine still says invited.

Hi guys I have a difficult situation with my application. I  have  2 "W" withdrawal for one biology course meaning that I took the course twice and dropped it with a W and then the 3 time I finished the course and passed. On the application before the invitation I did mention I repeated 1 time but I forgot it was actually 2 times since I took the course at 2 different schools. So my question is weither this would affect me from qualifying to submit my transcripts.

What class was it for? If it was for Biology I don't think it matters, but if you didn't report a grade for Physiology, Microbiology, and Anatomy then you could get disqualified

I think I misunderstood and thought that if you repeated 1 time you didn't have to report it since you are not deducted points. But my mistake is I forgot I withdrawl 2 times, I only remembered withdrawling 1 time so I didn't mark repeated since 1 time doesn't affect you. I guess I have to call to find out.

I wish they could just readjust my points.  And not disqualify me, since isn't that way they check. This application can be very confusing.

Hi! Update on my situation: I called the Health & Science Dept, and the lady on the phone said just to put the first passing grade for every class besides science. If you repeated any science classes, make sure to report it & put the second try as repeated. For all other classes they won't look at it if it says "no" on the repeat even if you did repeat it. As long as you reported your first passing grade for any classes besides science, you should be fine! ?

I would definitely call the health & science department! If you email them, they will not respond for so many days

This is why the application is confusing because you have report for science and you would have to call to find out it's not as specific in the application.

Anyone here took all the prerequisites at Delta and got the AS degree? Did you guys submit a copy of diploma?

I think since it was at Delta, I don't think you'd need to submit since they have the record of your diploma on file.
