SAN JOAQUIN DELTA COLLEGE FALL 2019 ADN

Nursing Students School Programs

Hey everyone I can't seem to find a forum for the Fall 2019 application for Delta so I thought I'd create one. I applied already. I like the way the new application is set up online. It was clearer to me this time around. I'm curious as to how many points everyone is applying with. ?

I completed everything on Castlebranch and I couldn't be happier! And I got the clinical site I was wanting. Who else chose Lodi? I live in Elk Grove so its perfect. Way less of a commute than the other hospitals.

Congrats! I’m pending review on everything but should be good to go come Monday or tues!

Im also at lodi memorial. My first choice was St Joe’s but evidently that was the case for most of our cohort. Just relieved I don’t have to go to Manteca!

@jr90 thank you! Congrats to you too! It’s such a relief to have this all completed. It was such an ordeal. And yeah, that was my biggest fear. Manteca would have been an awful commute. My sister-in-law went through Delta’s nursing program several years ago and she got Manteca. She said it was awful.

I got Lodi. I live in Rancho Cordova ? this will be a 40 mile drive vs 50+ for me. See you there!!

What about Manteca made it awful for her?

@Lady2020 we can always carpool.?

@nvrse31 sorry, that was a little confusing and made it appear like the clinical site was awful. Which it isn’t. It’s just the commute that was horrible. She was in EG too so she had to get a hotel sometimes because the drive was just too far. Otherwise, she would have to be up at 4am every morning to get ready and be there on time.

Just called and gave up my spot for Delta since I got into MJC. Good luck everyone.

I wonder when they are going to continue adding people from the waiting list? I called last week before MJC announced their acceptance list, and I called again today to see what alternate number they were on. Last week she said #14 or #15, she wasn’t sure. Today she said #14. ?

There have been at least two people that said they sent emails giving up their seat..?

The anxiety is real!

Why is NSO only $25 when our packet says $35? I just bought the policy and it wouldn't let me type in ADN as area of study/certification, I just put RN in this field. Hopefully they accept it, what did everyone else put? I hate that I almost totally forgot about this stupid insurance cuz it wouldn't let me purchase it before! https://forms.nso.com/mustela/site?productName=HCI#/QuickQuote

2. Type your profession or area of study :

@Lady2020 it was $25 for the rest of us too and castlebranch accepted it! So no worries.

@CountMeIn209 I really hope you get in! What number are you? I feel bad that you’ve been waiting to hear back this entire time. It was stressful enough just waiting until the end of May. I can imagine how you must feel. Stay strong!

So I uploaded my signed and stamped delta vaccine page to castlebranch on Friday- as of today they’ve accepted the tdap, but declined the hep b, and everything else is pending review. Castlebranch requested actual lab reports for my hep b immunity, did you guys have to do this too? Annoyed. 3 days until the deadline at this point.
