Oh, I see. Can I ask how it happened? Did they end up replying back with the email you sent and recalculated your points? Btw, congrats on getting into Pasadena City's program!

She called to offer me a spot in the class... All she said when I asked if this was in response to my relentless emails about my GPA is that they "reviewed my application and are able to offer me a spot in the fall 2013 cohort." I told her I was reviewing other offers and asked if I could get back to her tomorrow... She agreed but was less than impressed haha

So how is everything progressing for everyone? Are you guys taking the steps of moving forward and getting your shots and physical and what not?

@all89, i didnt need any shots. i had bloodwork done showing my immunity to measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, etc. i had a physical with my dr, and had him fill out the paperwork in the apendix for the physical and for the vaccines, I'm picking up the completed paperwork from his office tomorrow and then will upload all those into E*value system. I will get my TB test next month (and knock out 2 birds with one stone since june is my annual for work anyways). other than that, i think all i really need to do is sign up for the BLS class and get certified for that. The biggest stressor for me is trying to figure out what to do about my job! they wont let me go part time, i have to find a completely different position that fits the ADN schedule.

How are things progressing for you>?

I am getting very excited, and sometimes i still can't believe i was accepted!

Hey guys, does anyone still follow this thread?

were any of you at orientation today? i am asking because someone said they made a facebook page for us to connect, and i could not find it when i searched. She said it was called "san joaquin delta adn 2013" or something like that. But it was nowhere to be found. thanks!

I am an upgrade, so I think the staff will sign me up. I found the med-Surg book online for wayyy cheaper. I hope this all goes smooth. I still have my physical and immunizations to do and upload. I bought that ATI package today but haven't looked at it. I used EDGT before and that has some great study stuff. I reading the CA Nurse Practice Act now. Lots of good-to-know info in it.
