Hello Everyone! I haven't see any post about the Fall 2024 ,so I'm Just starting a thread for San Joaquin Delta College RN program. Hope to hear from everyone applying!

Hello everyone

I'm confused under our documents :

we have to send our transcripts from all college we attended but I see under criteria A1(Academic degree) we have to send our transcripts???

do we have to send our transcripts twice !??

Is anyone having  the same issue

im trying to go back to my application it keeps saying Getting credentials???????

Yep, it's lagging for me too.

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding our transcripts:

As I've attended three different colleges from various schools, I understand that I need to send transcripts from each. However, under criteria A1 (Academic degree), where we need to prove our degree, do we also need to send separate transcripts for this area? Just to clarify, should these transcripts be sent to Delta Admissions, or do we need to send them to [email protected]?

Hey, does anyone know if "Not Invited" means I'm disqualified? Sounds like a stupid question... but It says that I'm not invited to submit any further documentations so I'm not sure if that means that I've been accepted or not. I also applied with 46.5 and after reading everyone's comments I don't think I have a chance anymore LOL

Hi Assia, official transcripts from the colleges in which you've earned those degrees should state the degrees you've been awarded, but I would inquire with the colleges if you are unsure! As for your second question, im not sure, sorry I cant be more helpful! Hopefully you get the answers you need from health scienceapps!

Hi there Athena! First of all, your question is not stupid! Look at info under how to apply (3.) and program acceptance https://www.deltacollege.edu/academics/transfer-and-career-pathways-tracs/health-and-fitness/registered-nursing/associate-degree

An invitation is one of the first steps in being considered for acceptance to SJDCs ADN program, because even after an invitation you are not guaranteed a spot, you can be: admitted, alternate, or disqualified. So yes, you've been disqualified- specifically not invited for fall 2024 because of your low scores and will have to apply again for Spring 2025 next semester.

SJDC's ADN program operates on a merit system with 10% lottery. This means 90% of the spaces will be filled by students with the highest points. You'll want to shoot for 70 points atleast as SJDC/Nursing programs in CA are pretty competitive. Honestly, the more points the better as the threshold of invited/acceptance depends on the pool of applicants that semester. CSU BSN programs, private, LVN-ADN bridge programs are also some (costly) options.

Remember, you've have 3 attempts at the TEAS (every program's retake policy varies). And if you have earned low grades on your prerequisites, consider taking those courses at other colleges nearby like MJC or ARC/SCC, SJDC docs points for repeat courses. https://www.deltacollege.edu/sites/default/files/adnadmissioncriteriafall2019.pdf. I suggest speaking with a counselor for some more advice about your options if this is something you want to pursue.

I wish you all the luck!

Did you receive your CNA card after finishing the training?

Honestly, I never did but I never needed it either as my name shows up in the official registry. I've submitted a form for a copy, crossing my fingers it gets here on time!

Wow, thanks a bunch for explaining everything! It makes way more sense now. I will definitely try harder next time. At least now I have a clear idea what to do, so I will be working on upping my points. Thanks again! Have a safe and awesome weekend! @CSjdc

Second time applying had 47 points got denied or not invited both times

For criteria 1D I have a letter for employer for working in the hospital as a PCT with 2,000 hours of paid work. It's not a licensed position is this okay?!😭

Turned in the rest of my documentation yesterday.  LOL I hope everything is right. I'm feeling nervous and anxious now.
