Published

Hello Everyone! Just starting a thread for San Joaquin Delta College RN program. Hope to hear from everyone applying! Does anyone know when the application period is going to be for fall 2023?

is the application open yet for fall 2023? the link is not showing for ADN

Hi! I myself have been trying since 10am. But it looks like the site may be down or technical issues off health and science department. Spoke to someone in counselling and they said to email the HS department.

I sent them an email an hour or so ago. I suspect that there are some technical issues. SJDC is on Spring break so the technical staff may not be fully staffed and a bit behind as a result.  Have patience, it will work out.

OK, so the SJDC ADN application for Fall 2023 is available to fill out. However, due to our typically bad SJDC tech support, the application is buggy. It will not let you logout properly, so I did a forced logout which ended up losing all my application information (insert face palm here!).

I sent them an email about it; but, I still haven't received a reply from my first email so I'm not holding my breath (insert another face palm here!).

For the people on this forum with questions about the application process, SJDC is doing a Zoom call on March 30th at 4pm for SJDC students. They promise to go over the application process and answer all questions.

If you are a current SJDC student the link was sent to your SJDC email. If you are not, may I suggest that you email the office Health Science Apps [email protected] and ask about that Zoom call hopefully they will send you the link.

So far they seem to be reluctant to send it out to non-SJDC students but its just been me sending them an email asking for it.

A warning from current experience (I went there this morning in the rain), SJDC is on Spring break till 3/20 and the offices appear to be closed so don't expect a reply right away as I seriously don't think anyone is reading the emails until then or they are deliberately ignoring non-SJDC applicants (which I wish they would have told non-SJDC applicants) (insert yet another face palm here!).

If anyone is lucky enough to get the link to this Zoom call please post it here. Thanks.

Congratulations! That's an impressive cumulative point total! I'm waiting for a counsellor to go over my application before submitting. I don't want to risk disqualification due to some misunderstanding off my end. Good luck!

People who submitted their application. Can you guys tell me Which class is pharmacology and nursing synthesis ? I'm from MJC and never take any classes from Delta. TIA

Nurse synthesis is HS 43

Pharmacology is HS 72

Does anyone have the link for the zoom call (go over the ADN application process with SJDC) on March 30th?

I don't have it yet. I've put out feelers to the SJDC office with no luck so far.

SJDC staff that administers the ADN program is full-time nurses. This is a good thing to have nurses overseeing everything.  It is also a bad thing as it means they are overworked with their actual full-time jobs.

As a result, emails go unanswered for long stretches.

If all of the participants on this forum would please send an email to [email protected] requesting this link, then perhaps one of us would get the link (which you could then share here).
