San Joaquin Delta College ADN Spring 2023

Updated:   Published

Hi everyone, I'm making this so the people applying to the Spring 2023 San Joaquin Delta program can talk. Does anyone know when the application opens and ends? Also, How many points will you be applying with? I'm attaching the admission points criteria. I'm not sure if this is the latest one that they actually use, does anyone know?

for the documentation we have to submit, #3 says official transcripts for all other schools attended, is that only required if we completed prerequisites at that school? or regardless if we attended another college?

Only if you’ve taken the nursing prerequisites required (The ones you filled out in the application) at a different school. So say you took Microbiology at a different school other than Delta, you would need to have those specific transcripts. But if you also took Chemistry at a different school you would not need those transcripts because you didn’t put those on the application

Did you get an invite ? I received an invite with 69.5 points.

does anyone know how many people total with be able to join the program in Spring? I know it’s always been 40, but does that include those who are offered the fast track??

It’s 80: 20 from HOPE, 20 fast track, and 40 regular students

@Jessf Calling them is useless as well because the woman who picks up the phone never knows anything. Just try to email Health Science again and email the nursing counselor, (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME)

Good luck everyone ! And for the one person who asked no this doesn’t necessarily mean your in, just make sure you submit your documentation correctly and pray for the best!

Thank you! They didn’t have hope or fast track when I last attended, that’s exciting

Based of my understanding you have to submit all the transcript from all the colleges/universities you take classes regardless if you take pre requisite there or not. This is how they evaluate you to make sure no hucos fucos and no hidden classes. Don't take my word for it but also good to check with the expert.

Do you need to put the application in a 9 x 12 envelope regardless if you'll be mailing it or not?

Will I be able to take the application tomorrow?

Yes I think. Check the document checklist. I think they specify there. That's what I bought from Target 9x12 inch envelope.
