San Joaquin Delta College ADN Spring 2021

#Spring2021

Published

Hello everybody I just thought I make a forum for those who are applying Spring 2021. Had a question on how we send our transcripts if we did all our pre-req's elsewhere

Does anyone have a link to the correct class for CPR/BLS on American heart association. The only class I’m able to find is BLS provider.. don’t want to sign up for the wrong one

That’s the one I signed up for. Is that not the right one?

Is there anyone in the fast track program that was able to register for NURSADN 1&2?

I believe it is, that’s the only option similar to the name they provided is. I just wanted to make sure I did the right one

So I am about to register for this class. Does this look like the one you guys are registering for as well?

When were you accepted? Hopefully I get in. Alt #19 ?

Hi there, have they made their way to you yet? I wonder how far Delta has gone down the list.

The class I signed up for was virtual and they are doing it through zoom and will be giving an electronic CPR card. Wonder if this is okay? I mean the class was from the aha website that they provided in the link.

Interesting. I would say the book part is fine over zoom, but actually performing CPR (even on a  mannequin) is a whole different experience. I was quite surprised at how fast and hard you have to pump to keep a heart beating. If they listed it, I would guess it is acceptable.?

Yea. I don't know. It's tomorrow. I'll see how it goes and if anything I'll just sign up for another class.?

Hi Has anyone already got their flu shot prior to receiving their packets and know what form would be acceptable or if we should just fill out the form also provided in our packet.

also for NSO did you guys put “Registered Nurse” when trying to apply for . I did not see the “issuing date box” to put our January 11 2021, it only had a “end date” box.

thank you

Hi, I also took my flu shot prior to receiving the packet. However, I am probably going to go back to the place that gave me my flu shot. I am also emailing (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) just to be sure I fill out the form.

Regarding NSO, there should be an option to put an effective coverage date for January 11, 2021. Can you provide a screenshot of what it looks like?

I am trying to order uniform on Dove Apparel, I noticed that orders "for classes whose clinicals start January 11, 2021, the deadline to order is November 28, 2020. This state on the packet and even on the website for Dove Apparel.

Is this a mistake or something. I want to make sure I get the uniform on time.
