San Jacinto College (San Jac) Fall 24 LVN

It's been a little over 2 weeks since the application deadline . Has anyone received an acceptance email for the fall 2024 lvn program? 

ATI package and books are separate. I rented mine through Chegg and paid about 100 total (not including the optional workbooks). They will arrived today and I don't return them until mid December. I used the list of books listed for each crn.

Did you purchase textbooks for the first eight week classes only or the whole term?

The whole term. I forgot to look for an 8 week option, it may be cheaper.

3, one for each class except clinicals. I didn't get the workbooks yet since they are optional.

Hey ya'll!,I applied for the perkins grant and got approved ,they give you $250 for uniforms ( I got 2)and shoes, fingerprinting receipts(this is what I used). And  they also have $200 for the medical kit,and sthethoscope. It's open right now for the Summer year,andwe can apply again in August for the Fall year,(Ill be using this year to buy more uniforms). It came in great handy right now with the hurricane expenses.Just an FYI.

Also there is a grant in the San Jac's scholarship website, for Emergency scholarship for $500,if you are being evicted or behind in utilities bills, it takes 5 business days to process.

Hey Tesla!.so when you go in to the scholarship login ,under opportunities, click the drop down, it will say first, "scholarship" and then under it, "grant". I chose Grant and then it says "Student emergency scholarship", that is the one,(I just checked and I got approved by the way). You may have it you may not, my daughter didn't have it ,I don't know why, she is attending this Fall too.
