Hi, I am planning to apply for nursing at San Jacinto central Houston but I heard that on that campus it is really hard to get in, but if you do, it will be triple hard. I am wondering if it's really true.

My rubric score was 18 so I ended up on the alternate list. They called me shortly after acceptance letters went out to tell me there was a spot available.

That is great information to know. I have one A and two B's still have to do one more class. A lot of people that I have class with are shooting for A or retaking when making a B or C. I wasn't sure if to retake my B classes. It's good to know that its possible to get in with B's and C's on the pre reqs.
Thank You

I wouldn’t retake any courses you’ve made a B in; I think you’ll be fine. San Jac north really looks at the HESI score above anything else. As long as you have a good HESI score, you should have no problem getting in. Aim for at least 20-27 points. Good luck; you’re going to need it at that school!

Hey,
Would you be willing too share your pre req grades and HESI score and overall rubric score? I also want to apply at San Jac but I keep seeing a lot of people say its super hard to get in.
