San Jacinto College - Fall 2025 application

Published

Just wanted to come on here and see if anyone else is applying to San Jac for Fall 2025 admission. Was just curious of you guy's pre req scores, GPA, and TEAS exam. Just asking because I'm not so sure my scores are high enough to get accepted.

Thanks!

Nevermind I figured it out!

Thank you so much! I took it in person so it was a little easier for me to focus LOL. I studied using the mometrix book, archer.com, and I watched Nurse Cheung a lot.

Also, I purchased the ATI practice test to help me get familiar with the format and some quizlets helped out a lot.

I really needed a good grade to boost my rubric score, so I'm very happy

Congrats! I also used Mometrix and Archer Reviews and IMO Archer Reviews was more useful than Mometrix. I like some of Nurse Cheung's videos, but at some point it felt like she wasn't going in-depth on certain things and was just reading off the slides verbatim. I found Dr. Matt & Dr. Mike as well as Professor Dave Explains to be better supplementary videos.
I took the test in-person and managed to score an 86.7. My only complaint with in-person testing is if you get there earlier, you could start the test earlier, but there will be people coming into the testing room and the sounds of the door opening and closing can be pretty distracting since you start with the reading section.

Yep, I just submitted my application a couple days ago. Hoping to hear back from San Jac soon, specifically for Central.

I don't think we'll hear back from them until after the last day of application.

I talked to one of the administrators and we won't get feedback for our acceptance until 4-6 weeks after the application deadline, so mid to late May.

Hi,

So after we submit our application do we need to do the castlebranch urine test and send our TEAS score to san jac central campus?

The drug test will be done upon acceptance so you don't have to worry about that right now. And did you take your TEAS at central campus or somewhere else?

I took my TEAS online so I guess I will have to send it to san jac central? Do they have a code?

I'm honestly not sure because I took mine in person at central campus. You can email one of the san jac administrators tomorrow morning though I'm sure they know exactly how you're suppose to send it

Hi. I took my TEAS online and if I can remember correctly, there was an option before and after the exam where they ask you which school you wanted to send the results to. I'm sure it's going to be an easy fix if you missed that step though!

Thanks. I will have to look into it. Is everyone applying to central? I was wondering how far everyone will be driving to campus if they get accepted.
