Is anyone applying to San jac centrals adn program for the spring of 2016? Just curious about the minimum gpas normally accepted as well as hesi scores.
I thought about re-taking the HESI too. However, I already got accepted into College of the Mainland for Spring 2016 so I don't know if it's worth paying $46 for a THIRD time. I like SJC and it's closer to my house but I'm leaning towards COM instead.
Has anyone else been accepted into COM? Which nursing program do you think is "better"?
Ur right! Sanjac only accepts two hesi test scores but since the deadline has changed you can still retake it and choose which two test scores you want to use. I've been in and out of the hospitals with ill family members the past few months and I met a lot of nurses that graduated from Sanjac and they seem very happy with their job so that says enough :). I think everyone's situation is different so it depends. I myself am going to retake it and hope for the best. I wish you all the best!!
Whether you take one section or the whole test over it still costs $46 so my advice is take the whole test over. They take the highest score in each of the six sections & average them out for your grade. (Ex: I made an 84 first goes around, then a 90 the second time. But between the two I made a 91.. b/c the first test had one section I did better on so they plug it into the 2nd test)
Hope that wasn't confusing.

Hi ladies! Ur right they did extend the deadline. I too was upset at first since we have been waiting what seems an eternity lol..but then I thought well no matter what we have to play the waiting game if it's not one thing it's another so I figured I'd take advantage of the situation and retake the HESI to see if I can improve my scores. Why not right!!
