San jacinto college central adn program spring 2016

Published

Is anyone applying to San jac centrals adn program for the spring of 2016? Just curious about the minimum gpas normally accepted as well as hesi scores.

Looks like it will be another week

Does anyone know when they stop sending out acceptance letters?

Does anyone know how they select their accepted students?

They pick based off of your prerequisite grades, hesi score & cumulative gpa. They have a point sheet, with 30 being the most. Each A is worth 3 points, hesi score worth 10 pts max & gpa worth 5 points max.

Omg you guys I dont know what to do hope you guys can give me some advice...my only titer that came out negative is measels and my doctor said there could be a small chance it might affect the baby so I couldnt get it unless I stoped breastfeeding, I turned in my applcation August 14 and I been waiting since hoping I would get in and then get the shot...but I am starting to think they might be waiting for me to get the shot now that they extended the deadline..my score is a 23... I dont want to get the shot and then get denied and miss out in breastfeeding him a little longer...what do you guys think?

hey there ... that's a dilemma you got there, i think you should wait until you get accepted then get the shot.I don't think that one shot can get you denied from the program...good luck though

If I were in your shoes I would call the nursing dept and ask. I'm sure they will understand your concerns.

I was going to ask the same question Skd137 lol!

Has anyone heard anything? I applied 3 weeks with a score of 31 and I'm worried because I have 2 subsections of the Hesi with a 67 and 70 and I don't know if I should take it again. My overall score is 90.

The highest you can get is a 30... Your labs don't count as a class! & Nope haven't heard anything yet either.

Do you think I should I take the Hesi again? For the grades of the subsections?
