San Jacinto College ADN - Fall 2020

Published

This is my first time using this site. But I’m in the process of applying to the San Jacinto College ADN program.
my grades are:

English: B

AP1: A

AP2: B

Micro: B

Science GPA: 3.27

HESI: 91.2

I’ve been to one other college besides San Jac, so I don’t know my exact cumulative GPA, but it’s between 2.9-3.1

my current ruberic is a 21 not counting my GPA.

My real concern is if I should apply ASAP, or will I be ok waiting about a week for my CNA license to become current, and also, what are my chances of getting in? Thanks for any responses!

Oh my, OK well good luck! Hope only 4 weeks.

Thanks! You too!

Does anyone else keeps getting emails from castlebranch about the incomplete physical and blue card/D.O. being overdue??

I'm getting them too. But they aren't due unless you're accepted.

Hey there. I used archived HESI tests from the Public Library database and I used my notes from anatomy. I studied maybe an hour daily 2 weeks leading up to the test. I pretty much did a different section every day. Hope this helps.

Yes I’m getting them as well. And also I tried to turn in my flu shot but castle branch didn’t accept it. They said that I didn’t get it in the flu shot season. So I have that slot empty is anyone having that problem as well?

The only things I don’t have so far is the TDap (it was rejected because I’m allergic to Pertusis), physical and blue card. I work in the medical field atm so luckily flu shot was one of those mandatory things and they accepted mine.

I didn't take the flu shot yet, and asked about it to ms. ***** who is north campus ADN office. Here's the answer from her.

"The flu shot is not required at this point, please have it completed by August/September of this year."

so, I guess it wouldn't be the problem.

They excepted my flu shot I took mines in October 2019

Having problems with my titers because they were taking on 2019 at the beginning of the year so I’m waiting To see if they except it

How do you find the archived HESI tests?

They should accept it, mine were excepted. I got mine done last year because I was applying for nursing school already and I didn’t have any problems with my titers. I did have to get a booster shot of my varicella because I wasn’t immune anymore but that was the only problem I had and I had to get my titers done again.
