[color=#008000]hello guys... i'm creating this post to keep track of acceptance into the adn program at san jacinto college.

I bought a total of 8 books. The six in the bundle and the other two, mosby's manual of diagnostic & laboratory / nursing diagnosis handbook. I know there was one more book required (it's around $10) that I was told was online.

Anyone else got ---- for Foundations at 12 Tuesday-Fridays? Im trying to find some people to know. I also will be going to St.Johns on Wednesdays in next 8wks. Trying to see if I can form a study group or something. lol

Okay guys, I have a question... I mean... it might sound a bit stupid but... okay....

Oreintation for some these classes overlaps some of my other college courses? So by logic I guess I just have to miss these other courses? So I guess we just email our professors. For example, for me the Foundations class is usually the noon to two slot... I have a theatre class in the AM on Tuesday, yet on that Tuesda we are to be at orientation for foundations until 11AM... lol this is just sort of funny, never dealt with it. Anyone have the same issue?

I would email the professors of the other classes you are missing and just see what they say. Remember, attendance is mandatory. Good luck!

I'd say maybe you can attend your class during one of your professors other class times. That's all I can think of because I'd hate to miss a nursing orientation.

Yes no way I'm missing orientation. I already know one of the professors (I've had her for for psych intro) and she's amazing, so I will email her. As far as theatre goes, it will have to wait... looks like Nursing is gonna win this one hehe. I'll just email that professor as well.

So there's no readings for foundations yet? Has anyone seen any chapters we have to look at?

In Foundations, I looked at the calendar. It has several chapters listed and an exam on 9/7. It didn't say to read before class but I figured it's best to read some to get ahead. Also I took pharm in spring and that teacher loved pop quizzes. It was at south but I don't want to feel that stress again.7

Oh ok. Yeah I guess it would be better to just start those chapters. Gotta go take a look at that.
