San Jacinto College ADN Fall 2010 Evening/Hybrid Program

Published

I created this thread apart from the regular one so we can use for support, planning, discussions, questions, concerns, & just to stay connected throughout the program.

Post a comment if you applied to the Evening/Hybrid Program and has already been accepted!!! :)

I haven't received any communication indicating that we should be at school anytime before tuesday evening.

Same here, see ya on Tuesday!!!

Our professor has posted all the info on BB...Happy printing!!! ;)

Thanks for telling me about this website. Is this the only thread pertaining to our class?

How else can I stay connected?

Thanks

Glad u found it...oh & FYI, the rule on this website is you can't mention names...that is the reason for me saying "the girl"!!!!

Ok thanks for the head's up...that's interesting.

But if the name is in the username it's ok?

Ya, I'm sure that's fine!

I am not currently enrolled at San Jacino but would be interested in the Hybrid course you are speaking of, but I could not find any information about it online. Where did you find out about the Hybrid course, or do I just need to talk to somebody from SJ?

SJC offers it ever two years...so, the next hybrid will start in Aug. 2012!

I have a question for those that are currently in the San Jacinto College Hybrid ADN program...I just found out about this program and I thought it was too good to be true...lol Now, I am getting ready to re-take my A&P's etc., since it has been like 8 years since I took them so I can apply to the 2012 session.

My question is about the clinicals...how are these working for you all? Evening and weekends or are you having to do some during the day? Thanks!!

Basically, they will provide you with the schedule for clinicals...it may be on the weekend, during the week, one 12 hr day, or two 7 hr days. For theory & skills, every instructor has a schedule. The program being called "hybrid" means nothing...if u work, ur job must be very flexible bc u will have to show up during the day for skills, exams, etc. Hope this answers your question! ;)
