Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program? Also, when applying will you be using option A, B or both? Lets talk about it here. :redbeathe
ok my question is all of you are posting that you will be getting the immunizations done, but it was my understanding that the paper work for your physical will be handed to you when you get accepted?
And I don't remember about the cpr class where in the app that we filled out does it say we have to have it before we start?
PS. \
I went to school today friday for my financial aid I asked the lady at financial aid if she knew anything about the nursing program sending acceptance letters, she said no but that she had a student that just received her acceptance letter yesterday for the radialogy; so I hope we are next;)
Yes you will get all that info after you get your acceptance email. It was my understanding though that the doctor basically just signs off on everything so you can get started before. Hep B takes a long time(like 6 mo) and i think they just have a date that they want you to have the series started by. I'm gonna wait off on my cpr b/c i think they will send a list of dates they are offering it at san jac.
to number vii- how did your vaccinations go? any pain/swelling/fever of sorts? how many more to go?
it went well, i received my hepa&b combo (twinrix#1), tetorifice, & tb skin test (which came back negative)!!
i've had the mmr#1 & varcilla#1 back in 2006...so they took blood to check for immunity!!!! i should get my results this week!
my arm was very very sore...glad thats over with!!!!!
Ouch...that was a whole lot!
What else is left?
How many dosages do you need for the Hep's? and also the MMR's.
I have already gone through a chicken pox situation, do I still need a shot for that? I dont even remember when I got an MMR. It would be nice to see If iam immune at all.
Well Thanks for all that info.

I'm not sure how many I need but I'm hoping that I have immunity for the MMR & Varcilla...then I won't need anymore!!!
I've also had the chickenpox, so they gave me two choices...just get shots (u may get sick) or do the blood work to verify immunity!!! I took the 2nd choice!!!!
Thanks for the info.I would also go for the 2nd choice on varicella! I have got my MMR shots..but when I was a child. I hope I would only need to do the blood work on it or something like that. Hep's I sure have to have them.
Well Thankyou so much. Keep in touch.
My blood work came back and no detection of immunity was found.
So, I had to get the MMR & Varcilla!!!! Oh well....
