San Jacinto Central - ADN program Spring 2020

Hi everyone,

I opened this thread to see what is everyone doing to prepare for their applications.

I currently have 23 points based on the rubric from SanJac and will submit my application for the Spring 2020.

Hey Mel, I was wondering if you know if you were placed on the alternate list how will you know what number you are. I called today and they said they can't tell me.

I hear some say the north is more competitive and others say the central, which one have you heard that is more competitive to get accepted?

I was also put on the alternate list. My score was a 19.

I called to find out my placement on the alternate list. However they may have changed the way they do things in regards to the application process. I was number 36 on the list with a score of 18 and I got accepted. Central accepts 100 students whereas north only accepts 36. However central seems to be more competitive in regards to the scores. If you scored high on the Hesi you have a good chance of getting called off the list. Good luck!

I called central yesterday and asked when we will be receiving our letters and they said they will all be sent out by next week considering the last day to accept for North is the 22nd of this month so we can decide which one we would prefer to go to.

So for the north campus the last day to accept is the 22nd?

I got my acceptance letter for North at 4:02 yesterday. Congratulations to everyone that got in. Patiently hoping my close friend who is on the alternate list gets in! Goodluck guys.

I got accepted into ADN at Alvin CC, but I’m still waiting on San Jac. Waiting is torture! ??
