San Jacinto ADN Fall 2014 Applicants

So I'm creating this post for all applicant to the San Jacinto nursing program for fall of 2014! I'm so excited to begin this journey after a lot of thought of whether i should do LVN or ADN and i have finally made my mind up. Good luck to you all! Do you mind sharing where you are in the process. Only been back in Houston for 2 months and have made my check list of what i need to complete before 05/01/14.:)

1. Hesi A2

2.Order Transcripts

3.Drug Screening

4.Background

5. Classes (Biol 2402, Biol 2420, Biol 2401)

6.Flu Shot saving for last

Please let me know if any of y'all contact the Nursing Dept. at San Jac. I'm tired of waiting. Also, drive safe in this crazy weather!

I have an interview tomorrow in case I don't get into the nursing program. I would be nice to know!

Ok everyone my frnd just told me the ADN department told her te results well b on june 2 or 3 not this week !!!

I called and was now told we will hear from the Board of Nursing regarding our Background check. Wish I could of asked more questions but my boss walked in and I had to rush off the phone.

don't we get that already. i got my background clearance email 5 days after i did it before the application period.

Ok this makes no sense!! What background check from the board of nursing? Ok this is stupid.

Your talking about the Healthcare Background Checks, Employment Screening | PreCheck that we had to do before submitting the application right??? if so you should have gotten a email with this link

Oh are you doing the lvn-rn transition program @tinat810 because then you might need the approval from board of nursing.
