So I'm creating this post for all applicant to the San Jacinto nursing program for fall of 2014! I'm so excited to begin this journey after a lot of thought of whether i should do LVN or ADN and i have finally made my mind up. Good luck to you all! Do you mind sharing where you are in the process. Only been back in Houston for 2 months and have made my check list of what i need to complete before 05/01/14.:)
1. Hesi A2
2.Order Transcripts
3.Drug Screening
4.Background
5. Classes (Biol 2402, Biol 2420, Biol 2401)
6.Flu Shot saving for last
I just checked my student email and I didn't get accepted. I am mad because I feel as thought my stuff was very competitive. I have a GPA of 3.7 I also 4 A's all in math and science classes and 1 B in English. My hesi was 82% and my grading rubric was a 23. So I don't get it I feel as though I should of gotten in!!! This is just stupid now I'm mad that they made me waste money for those stupid fingerprints and I didn't even get in! I'm going Monday to ask why not I feel they owe that much to me for making me do that stupid crap!! I'm in blunt words ****** off!!!
Rena32, that is exactly how I feel. I've only had A's and B's in college, and all my scores were good. I took my whole undergraduate at Stephen F. Austin so they asked me not to do the rubric. But I know it was around 22. And my HESI was a 84%..its been really discouraging the last couple of days because it just doesn't feel right. Sorry for the venting. Just gotta get it out of my system..

Mines stArts with a G. And I got my denial letter on the 12th, yesterday. I'm really hoping it was a mistake like Tina's was because I really felt confident with this..we'll see though.
