So I'm creating this post for all applicant to the San Jacinto nursing program for fall of 2014! I'm so excited to begin this journey after a lot of thought of whether i should do LVN or ADN and i have finally made my mind up. Good luck to you all! Do you mind sharing where you are in the process. Only been back in Houston for 2 months and have made my check list of what i need to complete before 05/01/14.:)
I think everyone needs to calm down. They told me when I turned in my application it probably wouldnt be until mid June. I know it sucks waiting because if we dont get in we are screwed, but from what I read it sounds like most of you will get in. Calling and bugging them everyday isnt going to make them go any faster. If you made good grades and did ok on the hesi, then calm down, youll get in!
It's not cuz we mind the waiting it's because some of us have to sumbit.our application for lvn and we don't want to do that if we have the Rn ..... other wise I wouldn't mind the wait
I heard from my mom co-worker who just finished RN that they have some trouble with the TBON cuz of their complaints. There's a rule that if they schools go below 75 percentile the program can be cancelled so iam not sure if there waiting to see the over all percentile for this past graduating class. I hope that is not a cause and all. Its just a rumor my mom heard though.
I called and spoke to the lady who's handling the first half of the alphabets ( I think I can't write her name here) she said she's new and cannot answer my questions and they are hoping to send out letters by June 10 or 11.
