Hello i wanted to start this thread for those spring 2018 nursing students.

Currently i have applied now i'm waiting for an answer. Anyone else out here applied to the LVN program?

Specializes in ER and family practice clinic.

I received mine today.

Hey guys did they mention what time should we have our families come to the school for the boot camp/ family day? I know we are suppose to be there at 7:45am for South campus.

Hello my name is Tosha. As I was searching I ran across this thread. Congratulations to you guys. I was trying to get in the program as well but I'm not sure on the first thing to do. Could someone help me through the process??I have so many questions to ask.

@Faithwalker2018: You can find all of the information about requirements and applying by visiting the San Jacinto College LVN website at sanjac.edu/lvn. Good luck!

Niknik718, with all due respect, I must disagree with your statement. While you're looking at it one sided, try to look at it another way. It's not that people don't care or they don't really want something, but it's the fact that many people LOST EVERYTHING in Harvey. Also, some people aren't as fortunate when it comes to finances to have everything turned in early. There are many students who have families & are just trying to make ends meet. Not all students have the luxury of receiving financial aid, live with family or friends, nor have money flowing abundantly. I don't see how anyone could be upset about this when some even lost their family members during Harvey. It's understandable that you've tried & been denied over & over, but up can still try later. These people will never be able to get their loved ones back. My friend who was trying to go back to school lost everything in Harvey & is currently homeless with 3 children. Now, maybe you're very young & maybe not, but please learn compassion if you're going to go into the Nursing field. I wish you all the best in your journey. God bless!

Hi there! I was wondering if anyone can tell me if Sanjac North looks into the subcategories for the Reading comprehension in the rubic scoring or just the Reading comprehension score alone. I read that it has to be a 70 or above. I believe south doesn't so I was curious about North. Did you or anyone you know make below a 70 on one of the subcategories of the Reading comprehension part of the hesi and still made it into the program at North? Thanks for your time❤️
