SAN JAC LVN 2018

Published

Hello i wanted to start this thread for those spring 2018 nursing students.

Currently i have applied now i'm waiting for an answer. Anyone else out here applied to the LVN program?

Should be by the end of this week

I'm still waiting to hear from South too, and I am admittedly a bit annoyed that it is taking this long. I'm trying to stay upbeat and optimistic, but every day that goes by without an email is disappointing. I'm going to be quitting my job if I get in. I've been planning my exit strategy "just in case," but I'd like to know something definite.

I just spoke with south and they said it can be another two weeks because they are running behind ...

Oh my goodness. It's sad because people need time to make arrangements on if they will or will not be in school next semester

I️ was Chosen as an alternate for north...@emr85

Nooooo!!! That's ridiculous!

Hi everyone! I got accepted for the north lvn program as well! I also applied for south and haven't received anything. If you guys do end up making a group let me know!

Congrats, so far on here 4 of us have been accepted to north.. I applied to south too and if i get in south that will be an extra spot for someone so i can keep north.

Do you know which location might be better? I have a friend who is in the program at south this semester and says it's so hard because the professors are trying to catch up due to Harvey. I also have another friend who started at north this semester and says it's so easy but that Pharmacology is very difficult. She said no one in her class can pass the class. Although I know the program is hard, just wanting to know the pros and cons incase I do get accepted at south. I was really hoping to get accepted at south just because I live way closer to south compared to north.

i honestly have no idea which one. But as far as pharm hopefully mine will transfer over since i took it already but pharm is more about understanding the drug than anything. I figured they were playing catch up due to the hurricane but i doubt spring is that bad.

Most likely we will start a group. But we are waiting to see if anyone else gets approved.
