san jac adn program spring 2017

Published

Hello!

I have just applied and, I just wanted to know if anyone has also applied and what are your gpas and hesi scores? I am really nervous about not getting in. I am already using my fall semester to take extra classes for my gpa because I did not get into any BSN programs. Houston's BSN programs are really competitive so I understood why I could not get in but, I don't want to waste any more time. It really sucks when everyone is getting into programs while i'm just taking gpa boosters. My gpa is at a 2.8 and I got a 82 for my HESI score.

Thank you!

anyone else crossing fingers that they could be on top of things and notifications might go out today?!

I hope so but who knows fingers crossed

Genniemarie some girl on the facebook group for nursing said she already got waitlisted í ½í¸¨í ½í¸¨í ½í¸¨í ½í¸¨ does that mean they have already sent out acceptance emails í ½í¹í ½í¹í ½í¹

I am sorry I got the groups mixed. ..I was talking about south lvn ....that sent their letter's out ....for central it will take longer lol sorry about the confusion

Ah! I freaked out there for a second!

I posted that before you updated us on that lol

Has anyone heard anything from the nursing dept?

Nothing yet. Have you?

No nothing

Hey guys! I'm currently in the program and just wanted to give ya'll an idea of when emails could go out, when I applied it was about 2 - 2 1/2 months after the deadline that I got my acceptance letter...but some didn't get theirs until the week before first day of class. : /

What???? Omg  that really sucks. What is the prorgram like? And what was your rubic score of you dont mind me asking,

Nah I don't mind...My rubric score was 25, overall GPA was 3.2 and I believe my HESI was like an 85? Maybe lower...It's been awhile lol

The program is pretty tough but I've been doing pretty well so far. I've maintained my GPA at a 3.3, you just can't slack off...at all! I learned that the hard way and struggled to catch back up lol

I know of some people who applied with a GPA below 3.0 and still got accepted though :)
