San Jac ADN fall 2018

Published

With the deadline for the fall semester quickly approaching, I wanted to go ahead and create a forum. I am freaking out, I'm sure like many others about my acceptance!

I wanted to post my stats:

AP 1: B

AP 2: B

enlish: B

Micro: In progress

hesi: 90% overall

san jac gpa: 3.41

but I do have other transcripts to calculate in

I'm not 100% of my rubric score because of the gpa calculations and my micro grade.

I submitted my app today! Best of luck to everyone :)

Yes. You need to get it done ASAP. You have to make an appointment. Done on identgo website.

Sorry to bother again. Do you know if after we have uploaded everything on castle branch we have to submit it. cus i don't see a submit button. Or as long as it says complete then you're good?

Hi guys. I am currently sitting at #1 on the alternate list at north campus. As of now they said they have the 37 students. From anyone with past experience, do I still have a good chance to get called in? They said they call all the way until school starts if someone drops out.?? Feeling nervous

I was an alternate and I received a phone call. Did they give you a call?

Did you get in? I am in the process of applying and trying to get more infor about San Jac and how they are with acceptance.

Do you mind sharing your score on the rubric? I am about to apply for spring '19 and am trying to see what my chances of getting in or being an alternate are.

I believe my score was 17 and I was number 18 on the alternate list with that score.

Hi guys. I am currently applying to San Jac ADN Spring 2019. I just wanted to know how your overall experience was for applying to the adn program including acceptance/denial. I have multiple schools so my GPA isnt as high as my current GPA. It kind of worries me but i have great grades. Thanks!!

Do they really need all sections and subsections of the hesi to be above 75%. I scored a 67 in conclusions sub section but scored a 86 in reading comprehension and a 91 overall.

Will this be an issue?

My rubric score is 23

"A composite score of 75% and a score of 75% in EACH section is required."

I am currently in the program and I failed a subsection and was told if I did not retake the exam they wouldn't even look at my program. It's extremely serious. I had to retake the ENTIRE exam. The good thing is they take the highest sub scores of EACH exam. So you can fail every subsection on the 2nd attempt but pass the one you failed the first time and it'll be OK.

The process can be a little stressful, but I wouldn't worry if I was you. We had a toto of 120 students in the beginning and were currently at 88! This is my first semester btw. SJC was a backup for SO many students. A lot of people applied here but once they got into their main school they'd withdraw their acceptance and many people dropped out of the program already. If you meet every requirement on the prerequisite and then some, you'll be fine. I'm speaking about SJC idk how SJN was.

What if I took it twice and scored the same in both?

It's just the conclusions part of the reading comp. 67 in both tries.

My score is so high otherwise. Any other experiences like mine you may know of?

I think you should be fine then! If it's JUST the conclusions part. I thought you meant you got an overall 67% on the reading. Reach out to Ms. Navejar and just double check with her. If your overall points is 23 thats pretty high already.
