Hi all,
I am the incoming President of the Nursing Student Association (NSA) for 2016-2017 for the SFSU Sequoia Program at the Canada campus. I am trying to get an idea of how our current class (and incorporating both campuses) can best be of help to the incoming class and other future pre-nursing students and SFSU applicants. Please let me know if you have any questions about the current curriculum or nursing school in general. Good luck with your applications!

Hi Lakota93,
Congratulations to you. I hope that I can be one of SFSU nursing student. I really stress out now. I want to know how they select the applicants. Do they have point system? Do they focus more on TEAS? I have a little low on TEAS, but I have high GPA and many hours in healthcare experiences.

Hi Sutee!
I think that they do not have a specific point system. I know that the TEAS results are important, but if you have a really good GPA & a lot of healthcare experience then I think you should probably be fine.
It also depends on who else is applying, if people applying at the same time as you have all three (good gpa, TEAS score, and lots of volunteer/healthcare experience) then maybe you won't get in.
But to me it seems like you have a really good chance with all your hours of healthcare experience!
I would be surprised if you didn't get in, but dont hold me to it lol

Hi everyone! I noticed there wasn't a specific thread for SFSU's nursing application process for their upcoming Fall 2016 semester. Please feel free to post information, questions, your stats, etc. relevant to their Fall 2016 nursing program here if you're applying!!
