San Diego Vendors! Help!

So,

I've decided my next contract will be in San Diego for a variety of personal reasons. I realize I'm not going to make much money while I am there. But I'd like a choice of assignments at a few different hospitals. So far, I've only gotten one quote for about $53/hr (total combined rate includes all housing and per diems) for a critical care position at a Kaiser facility. Of course Kaiser is not my first choice.

I called UCSD and they said they use Cross Country as a vendor so I've contacted a CC subsidiary about that. I called Sharp (have not received a call back) and Scripps (who flat out refused to tell me who they used....like it was some national secret). My questions are:

Is $53/hr combined rate status quo for San Diego?

Can anyone tell me who the vendor manager is for Sharp and Scripps?

Right now this is the only quote I have, although I am hoping to get a UCSD quote from the CC recruiter this week.

$53 is fantastic, especially for SD! I'd take that in a NY minute! I like Kaiser but I know the floating can be rough.
