I have just taken a second assignment in San Diego. I start first week of July. Has anyone else previously worked there or plans for the future. Thanks.

I'm thinking of heading to San Diego next! My contract currently ends in a couple weeks, then I was thinking of taking a couple weeks off - to enjoy the road trip out there from the East Coast!
Let me know how you like it! San Diego is an awesome city to be in - so much to do!
I found my own housing and am in La Jolla. I'm blocks from the beach and ride a bike everywhere. It's amazing here. Pay is much lower because it's such a prime location. I don't care though I didn't sign up for the money I signed up to travel :)My other friends came here last year and stayed a year. They suggested I stay out of living in the city and stay closer to beach. The locals are so friendly. If you go on Craigslist lots of people always looking for a roommate. I found a roommate and it's working out great and much cheaper. I start my orientation tomorrow. The trip cross country was amazing. I traveled from NY. Lots to see!
Yay! I got a job at Rady's!! My base pay in definitely lower (by $10) than where I am currently. I get to make up for it by living with my brother. We'll be in Ocean Beach - I'm so excited. I'll be making the cross country trip in about 2ish weeks. It'll be fun! La Jolly is beautiful - surprised you found a cheap place to rent!
