San Diego pay

Im thinking about taking a job in San Diego an my take home pay will be around $1200/week. Wondering if this is normal or low for the area? Thanks!

San Diego is gorgeous but you're paid in sunshine.

Depending on your comps: housing, rental car, stipend...

1200 is okay but on the low-end. You should average about 1500/week.

I've worked Scripps, Sharp an Rady Children's. Rady paid the least...

Sometimes it's not about the pay. San Diego is a wonderful place

to go. I would have never gone there as a tourist. My time there didn't pay

very well either but I wouldn't trade the experience for anything.

For me it was a "work vacation"

$1500/week takehome? what company are you with? That'd be great, I would take that. I'm finding on the high side, i'm being offered about 1400/week takehome, and that's after taxes/insurance/etc. I work ICU

EmergencyNrse, I would also like to know what company you worked for? I am getting quotted a pay of about $2000 take home in San Diego and I make that here in TN. I don't hink I can pm so is there an alternate that I can contact you if you don't mind.
