San Diego Nursing Schools Spring 2017 Cohort

Published

Hi all! I was wondering if anyone was applying to any or all of the nursing schools (Grossmont, City, Palomar, MiraCosta, National, SDSU, Cal State) in the San Diego area. I'll be applying to ALL except two. Grossmont, MiraCosta, & Palomar have upcoming applications for Spring 2017, National's application is October, and City's is September-December. As far as I know they are all accepting TEAS V til January. Has anyone taken the TEAS? If you don't mind me asking what was your score? Does anyone know what the minimum points you have to get to be accepted? Anyways, I thought I would create a thread for students to show support, give words of encouragement, and general advice. I'll check back later and I look forward to hearing from you all and good luck!

So I just called Mira Costa to ask when letters would be mailed.

She said she is getting them together to try to mail out before mail is picked up. :nailbiting:

Just wanted to let people know Palomar College acceptances are being emailed out! Just got mine :)

Just got my palomar acceptance as well...

Yayy!! I got my palomar acceptance too :)

Congratulations to all.

So did you guys already send the confirmation email?

I did not get any notification from MiraCosta yet, but I decided to choose Palomar college.

No, not yet.. I am going to wait until I get my letter I am not sure which I will choose... Why did you choose Palomar?? If you don't mind me asking.

If I didn't get an email from Palomar does that mean I didn't get in?

They might be waiting until some people respond before the send out some more.

Just alerting those waiting of Palomar Invites - I declined formally today, so there should be at least 1 additional OPEN seat being offered sometime soon! Bets of luck everyone :) I'm checking my mail today for Miracosta

I got denied from MirCosta College.

But I am so glad that I got in to Palomar College! I heard that are doing kinda like "One to One lesson" with RNs in the hospital.

Did anyone choose Palomar?

Awesome April! I am still trying to decide, but leaning towards MiraCosta..

I got an alternate offer from Palomar for the Spring 2017 cohort and I absolutely have my fingers crossed. Got the email about 2 weeks ago

How many points did you all have that got into Palomar?
