San Diego City College - Fall 2024 Generic ADN

Hey guys! I haven't seen anyone make a post for this years SDCC cohort yet so here it is. How is everyone feeling about their application? Any idea what they expect for the point system? I'm coming in at about 84 or 85/100 so I'm somewhat confident. I'm assuming it's gonna take a bit for them to process the apps so we'll see. To anyone that has gone to workshops feel free to drop any helpful info below! 

I didn't have my CNA because I let it expire ? that would have put me in the 90s range .

Also rejected. Yikes. Bummer since this was the only school I applied to.

I don't even think they opened my application to be honest. They were still working on my transcript evals which I submitted sept 4th 2023 so chances are I got rejected cuz I didn't have everything ready maybe? It literally says "not started" on RN application. I bet they got so overwhelmed with apps that they mass rejected everyone else who didn't make the cut. There's no way that there's a whole page of rejections on here simply due to our performances. My guess is that they are understaffed and didn't have the workforce to get through every app.

I agree mine also says not started , I was between 87-89 I believe .

Oh wow OK now I'm kind of nervous because I got an email saying congratulations, but my app also says not started....

Does your application say not started even though you got a congratulations email? I got the email but my app still says not started...OMG if I was sent that email by mistake TT_TT

Oh, then you're good. I was assuming "not started" literally meant not started but if you got the congrats email, then you're definitely in. Don't worry. Remember they are understaffed and slow to update us. Probably got too lazy to update that as well.

Mine also said not started but I got in. I've also had a few other requests on that website that were completed but it's still marked as "not started" so I think it's just something on their end where they can see the application but not mark it.

Whewww...?? OK cause when I applied last time it actually said cancelled when I received the denial email...

What should we name the fb group?

I got in too!! ???? I had about 89 points! Don't give up and congrats to those of you that got in! I will definitely join the facebook group.
