Hello Everyone! Im starting a thread for SDCC 2025 Fall ADN program applicants. Feel free to talk about the application or anything related to nursing program . Good luck to everyone!
Alright, thank you. When clicking on the link for the handbook from our acceptance email, it says the file can't be found, error 404. I saw a 2023-2024 handbook on their website but wasn't sure if it was still up to date. Has anyone had the same problem or have you been able to access it.

Yes I got the same problem. I can't access the link. Hopefully they fixed it.
I have a solid 97 points and received denial email this morning. I am pretty crushed (and shocked!) and it doesn't make any sense. so I replied to their email asking for clarification on their calculation of my score. Below info is from the information packet (I have 4 of the items listed below):
"The committee will total all points and divide by the number of applicants to receive a baseline percentage number to accept the number of applicants. If multiple applicants have the same amount of points, the criteria will stem from the following: a. TEAS score b. GPA points (GE and Science) c. Work experience d. First-generation college student e. Volunteer experience f. Language"

That doesn't make sense why you didn't get in then if it's solely based on highest points

Yeah it doesn't make sense. One of the advisors I spoke to before applying said they only start looking at those criteria's if it's the last spot and the applicants have the same amount of points. Have you checked if you submitted all the forms correctly or if all your files loaded when you submitted it?
Lizzy105 said:hi, yeah, before hitting the 'submit' button on application I double and tripled checked everything to make sure it was all good.....
Make sure you make an appt with the dean to see why you didn't get in or what you need to increase your chances , the same thing happened to me last cohort I had estimated my points at 91 but apparently I hadn't submitted a certification which brought it down to 86 points .
