  1. hello, I am in the fall 2026 adn cohort. I am in search of the isbn number for the textbook for the pharm class - nrse 141, or a picture of the cover. if anybody can send that info, I would really appreciate it. thank you! ?
  2. Hello, I submitted my application like 2 days after application period started. All my docs are good. And my math is good. Double and tripled check all before hitting submit...
  3. They don't appear to be following their own "Application Acceptance Guidelines" Application Acceptance Guidelines Purpose: To provide consistent guidelines for acceptance of prospective nursing students into the RN and LVN-RN programs. Guidelines: 1. All applicants have 30 days to submit their applications before the deadline via JIRA. 2. If the applicants' applications are incomplete, the applications will not be reviewed and, therefore be declined. 3. The PEAR (Promotion, Enrollment, Attrition, and Retention) committee reviews each applicant's application without the Associate Dean of Nursing. The following committee will review each applicant's application: a. Administrative Assistant, b. Nursing Student Success Advisor, and c. Nursing Counselor. 4. Once all applications are reviewed, the committee will create a Micro Excel spreadsheet. 5. Gather all of the points based on the Chancellor Multicriteria Point system. 6. The committee will total all points and divide by the number of applicants to receive a baseline percentage number to accept the number of applicants. 7. If multiple applicants have the same amount of points, the criteria will stem from the following: a. TEAS score b. GPA points (GE and Science) c. Work experience d. First-generation college student e. Volunteer experience f. Language
  4. good luck. this is a terrible school.
  5. Hi Amy Price, not sure if you saw my post from last week? 97 points and denied. ?Something is not right...
  6. hi, yeah, before hitting the 'submit' button on application I double and tripled checked everything to make sure it was all good.....
  7. I have a solid 97 points and received denial email this morning. I am pretty crushed (and shocked!) and it doesn't make any sense. so I replied to their email asking for clarification on their calculation of my score. Below info is from the information packet (I have 4 of the items listed below): "The committee will total all points and divide by the number of applicants to receive a baseline percentage number to accept the number of applicants. If multiple applicants have the same amount of points, the criteria will stem from the following: a. TEAS score b. GPA points (GE and Science) c. Work experience d. First-generation college student e. Volunteer experience f. Language"
  8. I have 97 points. haven't heard anything yet. this is torture, LOL but congrats to all of you that have gotten accepted so far!!!
  9. Hello! I plan on applying for the next ADN cohort but I had a question for you all because I am looking at current informational packet (attached) and it is listing Biology 107- Human Biology as a *required* science course? I already have A&P, Microbiology, Chem and have not seen any other nursing school requiring just regular Biology. I am curious if that was a requirement for you? Also, I noticed in this thread that you may have a good contact for San Diego Community College that I could reach out to? So if you are able to send me that email info my personal email is: [email protected] Thank you! ? San Diego City College Information for Prospective RN LVN-RNStudent (2).pdf
  10. Hello! Just curious... is anybody currently from the San Diego area and accepted at Henderson? ?
  11. Hello All, Curious if anyone that was accepted to Henderson lives in the San Diego area?
  12. Hello @Futurenurseso Thank you so much for the book recommendation! Can you also please provide screenshot and/or ISBN# for the Pharmacology block as I know that is one of the most difficult classes in nursing school to pass. My youngest daughter is currently a 3rd year BSN student at a college in Hawaii (and straight A student), but had to take it twice. So I want to start reading up on it now. Thanks! ?
  13. I got accepted into Henderson! Yay!!!
  14. I was asked 5 questions! ? I am still on zoom now because there is good Q & A....
