Hi ,

 I’m getting ready to put my application together ? Anyone else is applying ?

Yea , I don’t have any kids yet.  I just want to start already LOL  I’m currently living in Las Vegas but I’m from Cali.

I'm getting it ready as well. I have 74 points which is not so great, but been on the fence about re-taking my TEAS again. That's really the only area that I can add points to unless I petition to retake one of my sciences but I don't know if my school would allow that. I got an A in Physio and B's in Anatomy and Micro, not the worst but I wish I worked harder when I took them. I'm planning on applying to the other community college programs later this year but some allow you to retake the TEAS after 2 years and City you can take it however many times and use the better score. My two years has not passed yet so I'm not sure if I should wait to take it. Feeling discouraged but won't stop!

Don’t feel discouraged. My friend got into the program at San Diego city college with 68 TEAS score.  Don’t give up.  Sending you positive vibes.  It’s nerve wracking , I know.

She got in with 80 points.

Awesome! I've heard its getting more and more competitive each year at City. I knew someone that got in a couple years ago and got 78 points I believe.

I’m applying everywhere in California. Even Northern Cali.  I can’t wait anymore LOL Good luck.  Keep us posted on here if you hear anything back.

Hi guys! I'm applying with 87-88 points. I haven't started my application yet but will be doing it ASAP! Does anyone know if we need to submit our immunizations with the application, or is it after acceptance?

Hello! I'm also planning to apply for SDCC. I have everything ready to submit except for the 2x2 photo. Has anyone gotten their transcripts evaluated? I tried calling the school just now but there was no one in the office.

Yes , I have.  It took 8 weeks to be evaluated. I didn’t add my photo but I did add the copy of my driver license. I just emailed the counselor to see if it was OK.  You are supposed to get it evaluated before applying to the program.

Oh wow 8 weeks. I should've done the evaluation sooner but I've been very busy with work the past month. I'll try calling again later or see what else I can do. I did get a confirmation that my transcript was received. Ah okay, I was wondering if we could just submit our driver's license instead. Thanks!

I let you know when she responds back.  Don’t forget to have ATI send your results to the school.
