San Diego City College ADN FALL 2018

Published

Hi Everyone,

The application for SD City College ADN is soon to end!

I kinda wanted to create a topic for SD City College Fall 2018 applicants. If you can, please share your possible points. I am looking into getting 85-87 points. Do I have a chance of getting in?

THANKS EVERYONE!

About 84 points

Wow, I can't believe this. What did they say in the letter?

About 84 points

Not even an alternate???

Best of luck to you as well! I know it's disappointing but don't ever give up you'll get in somewhere.

Maybe it is not the points? I know that if you have incomplete immunizations and etc. They can still reject you.

When I went to the workshop they said that they didn't send out rejection letters. Also they said that they accept 60 students, and about 10 alternates. 70-75 points was the average to get in.

I looked at the other threads from previous years, and it seems like people were getting their emails around the middle of january.

Stay hopeful!

I remember someone asking this at the workshop, and they said that incomplete immunizations were okay as long as you had most of them done. They said that since the program won't start until the fall semester anyways, if you do get accepted there's plenty of time to get them done before classes start.

Yes, thats true too. I believe they don't tell you if anything is incomplete, its just an automatic rejection?

That's what the lady said when I turned in my application. They send out letters in mid-January. And a lot of people also say they don't send rejection letters. It's confusing and frustrating.

Oh, okay. I must be mistaken but so if they don't give out rejection letter then how do you know If you weren't selected? No email means not accepted?

Did you get an e-mail yet?

No email for me yet. I turned in my application on the 27th of Oct and I was #82.

Hi, Mynursecharlie

You received an email stating you didn't get it ?

Are you sure you have everything? No one gets denied with a 84. Thats high. There are people in the BSN program with lower. Not many LVN and Bachelors degree holders have 84 and they get extra points. The school has sent rejection emails as of yet. I know people getting in with 72 points.
