San Bernardino Valley College Fall 2018 Applicants

Published

Hey everyone

Whether you are an alumni, already in the nursing program or are in the same boat as me and just applied to SBVC nursing for the Fall 2018 semester coming up, i would like to hear your insight!

What were your points when you were accepted or when you applied? What was your science GPA? Non-science GPA? How are you liking the program, if you are already accepted.

ANY insight would be amazing!! I'm in the process of just waiting to hear back and its killing me, so id like to see where i stand with other applicants! I'd also like to see if anyone has already heard anything!

Im applying next year (2019 for fall). How many points did you guys have before your hesi exam? Im so nervous about the application process but I'm eager to see how i already to compare to others!

Hi,

Prior to the exam I had 40 points and then following the exam I had 85. There was another girl at the testing day that told my friend and I she had 38, and was still invited. I think the director extended the invites though bc there was about 75 people testing and only about 50 people made it to the program. Hope that helps!

I had 44 points before the Hesi exam.

For those going in as second degree student (science gpa taken from Anatomy, Physio, Micro, Psych), would they look at Psych 1 or Psych 25/LifeSpan? I took Psych 1 over ten years ago with a B, but earned an A in Psych 25/LifeSpan very recently. I really have a shot if they calculate the Lifespan course. :/

They take psych 1 along with your anatomy, micro, physio.

Thank you. Blah, looks like I'll be retaking Psych1.
